Word Soup - A Cultural Flavour

Language changes for several reasons. First, it changes because the needs of it's speakers change. New technologies, new products, and new experiences require new words to refer to them cleary and efficiently. Another reason for change, is that no two people have had exactly the same language experience. We pick up new words and phrases from all the different people we talk with, and these combine to make something new and unlike any other person's particular way of speaking. Seeking to achieve a delivery of information via 'Word Soup - A Cultural Flavour' poster format of new phrases and words, informed by the Oxford English Dictionary, and aided by themes of cultural relevance, beliefs, values and innovations of a given year. Informative/delivering information/putting language in the context of experiencing it in a typographic and illustrated form, basing it of Alex Trochut's 'Seeing and reading become one action, text and image become unified expression'.
